The London Marathon, first held in 1981, has grown from a relatively small field into one of the most influential races in the world, shaping how running culture exists within the city. Beyond competition, it has become a focal point for community, brand activations, and the intersection of performance and lifestyle.
That energy continues with uvu’s London ’26 release, part of the brand’s ongoing series of city-driven drops tied to major race moments. Founded in the early 2020s, uvu operates around the idea of “you vs you,” positioning running as an internal discipline rather than an external competition. Each release builds on that concept, focusing on performance systems that feel personal while still rooted in a broader cultural context.
The collection is being made available through a temporary retail presence at Reverie, hosted at Flannels on Oxford Street during marathon weekend. The garments follow uvu’s core approach, with breathable race tops built from perforated, lightweight fabric featuring a dotted visual system and “London” placed front and center. These are paired with compressive half tights in a muted tone with high contrast branding, alongside a translucent outer shell designed to layer without adding weight.
Presented through a focused pop up rather than a wide release, the capsule leans into timing and location, using the marathon as both backdrop and catalyst.
The release will be available during the scheduled pop up hours across Friday and Saturday at Flannels, with the space acting as a physical extension of the brand during one of the most active moments in London’s running calendar.
